Can anyone reccomend a good gaming laptop that will not break the bank. I need to replace my current laptop but want to be able to play wow and such on it as well. Thanks in advance

that's what I have, it used to be $999, but the price went down, and in a lot of stores it's on like clearance because it's an older model. But I can do 25 man toc and 25 man ulduar and such, and not have any problems. It's an "entertainment" PC and it has a really nice, clear screen for when I catch up on my shows if I miss them on TV. And it has these cool slots, which are pretty common now, that let u put ur SD card from ur camera or phone and put it directly into the computer and pull it up that way. there's also this cool little remote that is hidden on the side and it pops out and u can control your media player with it or maybe the DVD you're watching. You can also pop the CD drive out to make it lighter, if you're gonna take it around somewhere, which is something I thought was cool because some of my friend's notebooks can't do that. Also there's a webcam built in, although you can't angle it unless u move the whole screen back or forth, but there is a mic built in. And unlike some other built-in mics, I can use vent with it and nobody yells at me that I need to put my headset on. The battery life is pretty good for a notebook, and there are 3 settings you can put it to, in order to save battery life, or to enhance performance. When I take it to class, it will last through all my classes in a day, as long as I'm not playing wow during chemistry. The only thing I didn't like about it was it didn't come with like a office suite or anything, not even a trial. But since I'm a college student, I went online and got Office Ultimate from Microsoft for $60!

that's the link in case there are any other college students out there that it might come in handy for.

thats a nice laptop for the money, and for $50.00 more you can get more memory, a faster hard drive and a better video card too, if i was looking for a laptop i would probably get this one with the upgrades i mentioned.

# 50% OFF!! 4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) <Was $20.00
# 320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection <was $20.00
# 512MB NVIDIA GeForce G 105M <was $100.00

at checkout it showed $150.00 instant rebate for a total of

Price: $869.99
Notebook instant rebate: –$150.00
Price after rebate: 719.99

oh yeah, the black is $25.00 cheaper than the white, I like the look of the black one better personally.

oh man, that is an excellent deal and I really, really wish I could afford that! (Hates my insurance company and the $1000+ in "coinsurance" I've paid lately. But glad I have some insurance at all...)

As a follow-up to Sunstriker's post, I would highly, HIGHLY recommend that you purchase the upgraded video card if you buy this machine. Any laptop using an integrated graphics accelerator instead of a dedicated video card will give VERY POOR performance when trying to game. You will be able to play WoW using the integrated graphics, but it will be very low quality.
I recently bought a Sony VGN-FW350 and it had all the stuff mentioned, the 320 GB HD, 4 GB RAM, but I noticed that when I play a raid or pvp, the graphic would freeze on me during parts where there are lots of action going on. I want to upgrade the graphic card but find out that I would have to replace the motherboard. So I say the key component is a graphic card that can handle WoW because once you buy a laptop, it will cost more to upgrade the card.
