Hello, my name is Heath. I am currently playing on Shu'Halo and my old guild has all but fell apart from people leaving and other unfortunate events occuring frequently. My main character that I am interested intransferring to Proudmoore is my fury warrior ( http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shu%27halo&n=Shamoos ) I would prefer to find a small raiding team that isn't to hardcore, just something a couple nights through the week. I have read through and understand the application process and the charter. I am just trying to find out if there would be group that may be looking for a dps Warrior. Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you guys. Toodles!
Hello there Heath - Taint is a very large guild that is organized across multiple sub-guilds. We currently have three 25 man raid groups which are organized as sub-guilds - Taint Invaders, Raiders of the Lost Taint and Taint of Madness. We also have numerous 10 man groups. Most of the 25 and 10 man raid groups are recruiting within the guild for various classes at different times. In addition, both Taint Invaders and Taint of Madness recruit from outside the guild at this time.
You can find further information about the raid groups here.
If you are thinking you may want to make Taint your home, I would strongly suggest you submit an application and, assuming you are approved, create an alt and play with us for a short period to see if you like the guild before transferring your main characters over to Proudmoore.
I hope you decide to give us a try. Taint is fun and freaky and we wouldn't have it any other way. Hope to see you soon.
What we usually suggest to people considering transferring to the server is that they roll a toon on Proudmoore, apply for the guild and join on that toon, and then once they're guilded they can both 1) get a feel for the Taint and to if it's right for them and 2) check out all the raiding info we have for members here on the website, because there are several raid groups, and talk to the raid leaders to see what openings they might have. So I'd suggest that for you as well!
