TAINT RAIDING

The Spreading Taint provides all the raiding opportunities available in WoW for all levels of raiding from casual to hard-core. We have many different raid teams currently running all of which are open to Spreading Taint members (specific requirements may apply to some teams). Take a look at the list of raids at the end of this document to get a feel for the opportunities we provide, and to learn how to apply to a particular raid. Some of our raids are available to players outside of the guild. If you are interested in joining a raid that recruits from outside the guild, but are not interested in joining the guild at this time, please post your interest HERE.

Raid Team Structure

Each raiding team has a designated raid leader(s) that is responsible for organizing the raids for that team, providing some structure to the team and making sure that our general guild rules are respected and followed.

In general, raiding team leaders have the freedom to structure their raiding team in almost any way they see fit, and that the guild can reasonably support. The internal working of each team is up to the team leader and its members - loot rules, team member rotation etc. The officers are not responsible for how a team operates internally, unless an officer happens to be a team leader. However, we do expect all Taint raid teams to follow the guidelines listed here and, in all circumstances, adhere to the Taint Charter - no exceptions.

Setting Up Additional Teams

Any Tainter is free to set up their own team if they wish to do so. We will support all efforts by a Tainter to organize and establish a raid team. The only condition to that support is that the team leader and members adhere to the guidelines posted here and the Taint Charter. The internal working of each team is up to the team leader and its members.

Raid Team Communication

The forums have a separate [Raid] thread tag for any and all raid related posts and communications. However, in addition to this, each team has its own separate sticky organization thread on the forums in order to organize team rotation, loot lists etc. While these team specific threads are readable by any member so that all players can see what is happening in Taint Teams on a day-to-day basis, we do ask that posts to the team specific sticky threads be limited to team members only.

Raiding Preparation

Ask your raid leader what level of preparation is required to fill your role. You may be asked to bring specific items to buff up, to learn boss encounters, install Add-ons, join specific class chat channels; all of these are particular to a specific Raid Team, and the raid leader will point you in the right direction!

SPECIFIC TAINT RAID TEAMS
