Important Information for Applicants

Welcome to the Spreading Taint application process. It is quick, easy and relatively painless. However, it is absolutely necessary for you to complete the application process in order to join the guild.

***RAID NOTE*** If your primary interest in Taint is to find a raid spot, please do not fill out this application. You may indicate your desire to raid before with us by posting to the appropriate thread found at the bottom of the "Taint Raiding & Recruiting" section of our Raid Progression section on the left side of this page. If, however, you wish to join the guild for the social aspect of being in a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and friends community, where raiding is a secondary priority, please continue with this application.

The first thing you will need to do is complete the application form below. Once you complete this short form, your application will be reviewed. Although we try to review applications quickly, please be patient if there is a delay of a day or so.

An email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided letting you know if your application has been accepted or not. Please make sure your email provider's spam filter does not discard this email as it is the only way you will be notified if your application has been approved or rejected.

If your application is rejected we will usually tell you the reasons for the rejection. In many cases it is because we want to talk to you directly in-game before accepting your application and we will tell you that in the response. If this happens, you should try to locate an Officer in-game in order to continue the application process.

If your application is accepted then congratulations and welcome to the Taint. However, you are not done yet. (I know...I know...we really make you work for it!). There are two further things you must do in order to join the Guild.

Firstly, if you have not already done so, you will need to create an Account on this site by clicking on the appropriate link in the Login section and following the Account creation instructions. An Account creation email will be sent to you at the email address you provided. You will need to respond to this email in order to validate your account and email address. Please make sure your email provider's spam filter does not discard this email as it is the only way to complete the application process.

Secondly, once you have created a site Account, you will need to create a character for that Account by clicking the appropriate link in the Login section. You can create many characters for your Account, but the first character should be the character you stated in your Application. After that, please feel free to create characters for any alts you may want to join the Guild as well.

After you have done this, you are finished! Just send a tell to an Officer in-game for a Guild invite, sit back and let the Tainted bliss wash over you! Welcome to the wonderful world of Taint - the most twisted place in WoW!

[Please note that the following is an application to join the guild and is not a raid application. Each of our raid groups have their own membership criteria and application process. Membership in the guild is a prerequisite to joining a Taint raid group but is not the only requirement.
